This reduces system complexity and saves costs. The application can directly control external hardware such as robots, gripper arms, actuators or sensors via the device interfaces.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, the measured 3D\/multispectral profiles can be sent via Gigabit Ethernet and processed on an external PC.<\/p>\n<p>N1 was developed for measurement in conveyor belt systems. The measurement can be triggered by a light barrier or a proximity sensor, the measuring rate is synchronised with the conveyor belt movement by encoders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Integrated data processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>N1 has an integrated PC with quad-core processor and 4GB RAM for customised applications. The application has full access to all scanner functions and interfaces via REST API.<\/p>\n<p>The battery backup system allows safe shutdown of the integrated PC.
